Eos Music Expands Staff

Eos Music Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of Kalen Carey as its newest music programmer. Carey comes to Eos after a four year stint as a programmer and on-air talent at WMNF-FM in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida. As a percussionist in several local rock and industrial bands, Carey has been part of the bay area music scene since 2003.

"Kalen makes a great addition to our team," says Eos Program Director Justin Lollie. "He comes aboard at a crucial period in the evolution of Eos, and given his widely varied music background, we feel that he will be instrumental in our continued growth."

Roy Orbison now playing on Eos Music

Eos Music Corporation, a service provider of background music for business, is excited to announce a licensing agreement with Orbison Records Inc. which will bring the cherished works of legendary singer-songwriter Roy Orbison to Eos. Over the span of a legendary 34 year career, Orbison wrote and recorded hits such as "Oh, Pretty Woman," "Only the Lonely" and "Blue Bayou." No fewer than 22 of his songs made the Billboard U.S. Top 40 in the 1960s. His international fame, five Grammy Awards and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 are a testament to his contributions to music the world over.

"Roy Orbison was, without a doubt, one of the most gifted musicians of his or any other time," stated Program Director Justin Lollie. "We're extremely proud to be a part of his ongoing legacy, and we aim to give his music the respect it deserves by featuring it on Eos."

Eos Music Adds New Music Programmer

Eos Music is pleased to announce Sean Lawson as its newest Music Programmer. Lawson comes to Eos with a degree in Video/Television & Film from Hofstra University. His professional experience includes tenures as a programming assistant at WKRB-FM in New York City, an archivist for NBC Networks and a videographer on several local political campaigns in New York.

"Sean's education and diverse background makes him a phenomenal asset to Eos Music," quoted Program Director Justin Lollie. "We're lucky to have someome with so many talents on our team."

Eos Music Library Now Boasts 100,000 Tracks

Eos Music is proud to announce the acquisition of its 100,000th track of licensed music. Following its 2009 launch, Eos has worked tirelessly to negotiate licensing deals with independent labels and musicians around the world on the way to this goal. With 65 genre-specific channels of unique, high quality music available to business subscribers, Eos is well in position to contend with mainstay marketplace competitors such as Muzak.

The American Association of Independent Music (A2IM), the trade organization serving the independent music community, has chosen Eos Music Corporation as a spotlight associate member on both its official blog and in its member newsletter. A2IM represents a unified voice representing a sector that comprises over 30% of the music industry's market share in the United States. In recognition of Eos Music's ongoing support of independent musicians the world over, A2IM has accepted Eos as a member of the organization and honored Eos with this spotlight designation.

Eos Music Launches Radio Transylvania

Eos Music Corporation announced today that it has launched Radio Transylvania, its spookiest channel, just in time for All Hallow's Eve. The channel, number 556, will be added to Eos' growing Year-Round Holidays collection.

The channel prominently features the goth rock band Midnight Syndicate, the artists behind three of AOL/CBS Radio's Top 10 Halloween Music CDs of All Time. The tracks include the soundtracks for several horror films and video games, and perfectly sets the tone for Halloween festivities, having been featured at haunts such as Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Orlando.

"We're excited to bring Radio Transylvania to our ever-growing list of musical offerings here at Eos. Eos Music Welcomes New Staff Member

Stefanie was classically trained at the Pinellas County Center for The Arts where she majored in Musical Theory and Composition with an emphasis in opera. She spent the last couple years performing at festivals and clubs throughout Europe with her classic rock inspired band as lead vocalist and keys. �With her vast knowledge of music, Stefanie will help us hone our programming and build the best channels available in business music�, said Music Procurement Manager Justin Lollie.
